2009 Artist Profile: Emily Ketteringham

Over the last year I have been experimenting with screen prints developed from drawings of coloured terraces and other distinctive Bristol buildings.
Areas of colour are mono-printed so that in each edition, no two prints are exactly alike, the colours blend as the print run progresses.
I love the fact that screen printing provides me with the choice to represent the house colours as they are, or to repaint whole swathes of Bristol simply by remixing my inks.
The Bristol AtoZ is filled with prints waiting to happen...
